Program Director
Cindy Hartley is Safe Spot's program director. Cindy chairs Safe Spot's multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the overall operation of the center. Cindy holds a bachelor's degree in Child Development from Appalachian State University. She is a Wilkes County native, and has served children and families in the community for the past nine years. Cindy is part of a multi-agency team addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences in Wilkes County. She is a Resources for Resilience trainer.
Jeremy Parks is Safe Spot's child and family advocate. Jeremy is the point of first contact for families at the center and coordinates care for children. Jeremy holds a bachelor's degree in Human Services from Gardner-Webb University. Jeremy is a Wilkes County native. He comes to Safe Spot from Communities In Schools of Northwest North Carolina, where he most recently worked as a site coordinator at North Wilkesboro Elementary School. . E-mail Jeremy
